It’s just not the same.
I missed it so much, but now …. meh.
I couldnt wait to have it back.
Yet, I don’t make time for it.
But, today I am home. V is sick. She blew chunks all over Aunty S’s floor yesterday. Daddy went home from work to be with her. Today is my turn. She is much better, but not much appetite yet. She just finished a bath, so I am sneaking in a quick posting while she dresses. This usually takes half an hour or so. LOL.
So, like I was saying, the whole time we didnt have a computer, I was anxiously awaiting getting back online to post all these great things in my head. To read everyone elses blogs. To catch up on craft idea browsing. But in the two weeks since we have had it home, 3 times I have sat down in front of it. And it is usually for 10-15 mins, then I’m done. Other things to do.
Oh well. I will try to make time for this and other things I used to do that I don’t anymore. I haven’t crocheted, loomed or knit in months.
School is back in and the routine will fall back in place. I do miss the routine. Having all the kids on a routine just seems to make my life so much easier. Or more stressful, depending on when you ask me. lol. Like, today is the only the third day of school, but we already had “issues” with chores and rules yesterday. One child slept in. Two disobeyed the “no friends over” rule. One complained because why-were-they-the-only-one-to-follow-the-rules. One child did a sloppy half-assed attempt at their chores, then got all moody and “whoa is me” when I made them do it again, properly.
Sometimes I miss the “I’ll just do it myself” days. But, I am not really doing my kids any favors by allowing them to be lazy and not help out around the house.
Oh… I hear V’s footsteps. She must be dressed now… off with me then…
love ya… k … bye-bye!!!
